We want to ensure that we provide you with the most up to date information and advice about Coronavirus. In order to do that we have provided a number of links to the Department of Health and other government websites across the four nations with their latest news and advice.

This is being updated on a regular basis and we would advise you to revisit these pages regularly, so you have the most up to date advice.

The Government has announced that we are moving out of the contain phase and into delay, in response to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The latest information can be found on the Coronavirus (COVID-19): UK government response page.

ON 17 March we published a Covid-19 update from GDC Chief Executive, Ian Brack. You can also read about how the GDC will continue to regulate in light of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in our recently published statement. This is a joint statement from the chief executives of all 11 statutory health and care regulators across the UK.

The UK Government has also published its Coronavirus action plan.
